Jeremy Scott for adidas Originals by Originals Fall/Winter 2009

A sick video showcasing Jeremy Scott's Fall/Winter 2009 adidas Originals by Originals collection was recently posted on Facebook. This amazing video was directed by Nabil Elderkin and features a track called "Get it up" by LP&L favorite's Santogold and MIA! Who better to ask to do a track for a tribal/African/safari themed collection, eh? They would be the first people to pop in my head too!

How hot is the female model amongst the guys? All the dudes energy and the chicks long hair ... LOVE IT!

This is the second jaw-dropping collection to come from, in my personal opinion, one the best street wear collaborations to date. I love me some Jeremy Scott, and I love me some adidas Originals. As much as I adored the first drop earlier in the year, with its overkill on the almighty leopard print - check my April post 'I Killed a Leopard & Threw it on my back, Jeremy Scott Style' for a reminder - I think the Fall/Winter loot turns it up a couple of notches. With the use of tribal, safari, African inspired prints, which also happens to be my next lot of favourite prints, this collection has got me ODing all over the place. It is so cliché I know, but this collection just embodies everything I love in fashion and in what I wear.

The video adds the icing to the cake and shows me how friggin' awesome and fun the clothes are 'in action'! Oh, and did I mention...THE TV TEST SCREEN print?! Hell yes, this is used on one of the men's bomber/puffer jackets (men, if you walk around town in this jacket...I will jump you and hump your leg haha!) and also on a couple of the ladies jumpers and a bodycon skirt/dress/long vest (not sure yet!), all of which are on the top of my 'to buy list' come October. The kicks are not saying as much for me this time round, but it really is not a thing considering the scale of hotness in the apparel range.

Parts of the Jeremy Scott for adidas Originals F/W09 has dropped in selected retailers and on some websites, like The Good Will Out, but fear not, we only have to wait until October for the whole collection to hit all adidas Originals store!
