My cheeks shine like the Granny Smith Apples on the supermarket shelves
Yet another annoying day to add to the ever-growing list. I travelled through the slushy ice trails - not sure whether it was mud, grass or concrete - to get to my 2pm tutorial, only to bump into my supervisor, where we had this conversation:
Supervisor: "Hi Rach, who are you here to see because no-one is here!"
Me: "Urmm...you?!"
Supervisor: "Me?! Did we have an appointment?"
Me: "Yea, Tues at 2pm"
Supervisor: "It is on Tues 9th!"
Me: "Oh...ok...." *DOH!*
So I felt pretty stupid, and my poor supervisor felt pretty bad, though it was my own fault.
Instead of wasting a day and to make myself feel better, I urmm...went shopping...! Just to get my mother something! And also some yummy buy 1 get 1 free Holland&Barrats Dried Mango Slices. Oh...and the above black and white, crack/animal printed 3/4 sleeve Mac.which was 20% off...Oooo--Weeeeee! You like?!
Luckily beyond the horrid salt and slush at my campus, laid the the undisturbed blanket of white, crystallized snow which covered the once never-ending green scenery. A scene which I got to appreciate in the 5 minutes I was at Uni:
On my way to see said supervisor, a couple of girls decided to slow down my journey by "Ooo-ing and Aaahhhing" whilst attempting to walk on ice in this:
Yet, you still decide to wear pointy heeled boots. And link arms with your friend like it is any other day, but really, this time it is a method you use for support and for the precaution of bringing your equally stupid friend down with you when you drop. And Vice Versa.
*Last snow type post I hope!
Final note: 'FOLLOW' our blog! Go on..look up, on the right side...3rd block down to 'LOVERS' (be our lover baby...) and click, click, click...
It really amazes how ridiculously stupid some girls are. Did you not look out your window in the last 24 hours? Did you not watch the OTT news stories about the ice and snow? Did you not think that over time, the nice, mushy snow eventually turns into hard-to-walk-on ice?

Loving the crack mac, it is actually lovely! Lol at those dumb girls (I laugh when I am not one of them, inappropriate footwear is something of a hobby of mine...) but really? You couldn't have been unaware of all this snow!
That's a pity about your piercing, I bet it looked ace! I properly have the bug again and I am itching for something else...my Mum calls this my "obsession with putting holes in yourself". Sigh. Char x
Love the leopard print. Hate the snow. And I am forever showing up to work on days I should not...possibly due to lack of sleep.
I really love your outfit and the leopard print is to die for! And did you know that you are so amazingly beautiful? You really are!
BTW, I'm hosting a Valentine's Day contest and I would love it if you entered! Please check back at my blog for more details!
Hey, just to let you know I tagged you for this award thing because the way you write is just brilliant, if you go on my blog you'll find the picture and that.
i love the mac! :D
what uni do you go to?
i would honestly follow your blog but i never ever look at the update thing, so it would be pointless.
xx
I want to wear heels and impractical shoes so frequently, but that isn't going to happen for many months. Oh well. I do not understand people who insist on wearing heeled shoes when there's ice...
